Lacey Medical Clinic has been providing family medical care to the Lacey/Olympia area since 1990. We serve patients of all ages.
Ronald C. Krauss, MD, founded Lacey Medical Clinic in 1989 after 12 years private practice in Olympia. A native of the Chicago area, Dr. Krauss obtained his medical degree at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine prior to family practice training at Martin Army Hospital. General practice and geriatrics occupy his practice times while writing, photography, music, travel, hiking, kayaking, and anything outdoors provide a multitude of activities away from the workplace.
Will Leighty, MD, is a general practitioner trained in family medicine at St Peters Hospital. He is currently accepting new patients and enjoys working with all patients, from infants to the elderly, male and female. In his words, “Health means establishing balance, in every aspect from the bio-chemical to the muscular-skeletal to the mental and emotional. I see myself as a coach to my patients, helping them maintain the balance in their bodies. Ultimately it is my patients who take the pills or do the exercises that will keep themselves healthy, but I provide tools, training, and insight to help them be their best.” He studied at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine, Brenneke School of Massage, and Whitman College. His medical interests include primary and preventive care, mental health, and rural medicine. He and his wife are both from Juneau, Alaska; they have 3 young boys. He enjoys kayaking and gardening.
Diane Ames, ARNP, FNP-C, is a board certified family nurse practitioner. Diane received her BSN from Pacific Lutheran University and her MSN from Simmons College. She spent five years as a critical care registered nurse which fostered her desire to focus on health promotion and chronic disease prevention. Her family includes her husband and son. She enjoys boating, swimming, kayaking, and gardening.
